Okorie Kelechi, MD/CEO of Equity Concepts Entertainments Ltd recently
received the CAMA Award as the most creative event manager of the year.
Equity Concept has organised several events in the
past, some of which include, Nollywood Blings On Night, Veterans in the
Nollywood industry, Nollywood Veterans Awards (NOVA) and many others.
The company is the only member of FORMAT
RECOGNITION AND PROTECTION ASSOCIATION (FRAPA) based in Netherlands.
Okorie started his career in Imo State University
(IMSU) as two times Director of Socials, (DOS). In 2007, he established
Equity Concepts as a boutique after his return from Austra. The idea later metamorphous
into event management a year later with Blings On Night Show as a launch pad
which took place in Aquatic Hotel Water Parks, Toyin street, ikeja.
Since then, the event manager has been consistent
in the entertainment industry.
He is the copy right owner of the Blings Culture
which hosts events like Blings Culture Magazine, Blings Beauty Pageant, Blings
TV, Blings Music and Video Award to mention but a few.
Today, the award-winning event manager (his latest
being 'The Most Creative Event Manger of the year 2013 from Classic
International Magazine and his latest event works on
Bollywood Fashions, Ambassador Charity Comedy Concert which took
place at Oriental Hotel Lekki ' as presented by the Classic Africa Merit
Award 2013).
Having worked as a media /production team during
2011 and 2012 Nigerian Fashion Week, Headies Award, Top Celebrities
Achievers Award, Nigerian Next Super Model, Global News Award, Ice Berg Party,
CAMA Awards and many other great events, Okorie is also the founder of KNOW YOUR MOVIES, the biggest (TV GAME
SHOW) in African.
