As events unfold for the successful production of the first ever Biggest Tv game show in Africa that is based on MOVIES, Equity Concepts entertainments has joined FRAPA for the global protection of the Format.
FRAPA – Format Recognition and Protection
Association — is an international body dedicated to the protection of formats.
Established in 2000 by a group of key industry professionals, FRAPA represents
numerous companies from within the television and broadcast industry. Its
members include format creators, producers, distributors and broadcasters.
As an independent, non-profit association,
FRAPA’s key services include registering format proposals; mediating disputes
arising out of claims of format plagiarism; creating guidelines for fair
competition; and educating the industry and the law regarding the protection of
formats.

The unique Tv game show kicked off last year
with an official world press conference which gathered over 40 media houses at
Ikeja G.R.A which was aired on major TV
stations and satellite TVs including Ben Tv UK. It is the first of Its kind in Nigeria,
even globally as it is a sharp departure from all other TV game shows. We
actually created software which acts as the graphic engine of the TV game Show
which pulls different genres of movies. We also have customized stage design
visualized and built by Nigeria's best stage designer. Hence we have a format
which is locally and globally copyrighted.
We have gone as far as securing licensing companies for
movie clips both locally and internationally so we don’t have problems of using
movies clips. We have taken all that necessary steps and have produced a pilot
of what the show looks like.
