The renowned Juju
Artiste, Bamidele Atanda Taiwo, popularly known as Dele Taiwo is making waves
in his musical career, he just returned from the United States after his breathtaking
performance at the last Ngozi Nwosu’s birthday bash.
The most preferred
and award winning artiste is prepared to thrill his fans for the remaining part
of the year.
He wants to
reassure his fans that Dele Taiwo, is still in the limelight. For all social
events coming up this festive season, the artiste has promised to attend and
give his audience a memorable season.
Adducing reasons
for his blink in the industry, Gentleman Dele Taiwo (as fondly called by fans)
said he is leaving nothing to chance as he has been equipping himself and his
band daily to meet up with modern trends and face the competitive world.
The Osun State
born Artiste, whose odyssey dates back to the early 90s has travelled far and
wide and has received numerous awards for his immense contribute to the juju
genre of music. Among his several awards are; Best Juju Artist of the year (1992, University of Ibadan), Fame Musical Award Artist of the year (1993),
Prime of African Youths Award (1993,
Ogun State University), Best Juju Album of the year (1994, Ibadan
Polytechnic), Best Juju Artist of the year
(1995)….to name but a few.
Dele’s passion for
music grew as a teenager in his father’s church when he started playing musical
instruments like the keyboard and talking drum. Today, the art has travelled to
more than 36 states, locally and internationally.

GRATITUDE has been embraced by fans, critics and rivals alike.
His kind of music
has been redefined with his current album GRATITUDE which has spread nation- wide.
Dele Taiwo has
since cut a niche for himself and his band in the juju music scene with his
funkyfield series. Dele now matured in both composition and style has his own
identity stamped on the music industry with his standard funky juju flavour which
has made him a household name in Nigeria and Africa generally.
